Veterans Administration home based agents

The Veterans Administration extended their Contact Center Services to home based agents. Under guidelines of security policies and cost reduction, the Veterans Administration implemented NEC’s desktop virtualization solution, including integrated communications. This implementation leads to operational savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, centralized management and an expanded hiring pool.

Richard Rhoades, Director, Health Resource Center, for the Veterans Health Administration before retirement in June 2010, was responsible for over 600 employees and operational, executive, strategic and financial oversight of the Veterans Administration (VA) Health Resource Center in Topeka, Kansas. Estimated call volume at the facility’s 7 Contact Management Centers: 4 million annually.

Richard has 35 years of executive health care and administration experience, 10 of which were at the VA central office in Washington DC and 7 at VA Medical Centers.
